Abstract

Due to neglecting the control-structure interaction (CSI) which brings difference between theoretical model and real model, the wind-induced vibration control of high-rise buildings often leads to poor control effect. Taking a TV Tower as an example, the structural dynamic characteristic model of the high-rise structure was built in consideration of the CSI effect. A comparative analysis between the models with and without considering the CSI effect was carried out. Based on the model proposed, the control effects of the control algorithms with and without considering the CSI effect were analysed. The related engineering suggestions for the wind-induced vibration control of high rise buildings with ATMD devices were presented.
