Abstract

As the proportion of wind power increases, the wind turbine will have a serious impact on the power quality of the grid after the grid connection. Due to the inherent characteristics of the wind speed, the output power of the wind farm has fluctuations and intermittence, which in turn causes random fluctuations in the grid voltage. Voltage fluctuations will affect the normal operation of electrical equipment, these issues are increasingly concerned and valued by wind power companies. Therefore, analyzing the impact of wind power integration on the grid and solving its reactive power compensation problem is of great significance for wind farms and power grids.
