Abstract

The weldabilities of micro-calcium steel including the joint and usage properties were investigated. The microstructure and properties of the joint were researched by optical microscope, hardness, tensile and impact tests. The results show that the microstructure of the welding joint consists of martensite, granular bainite and acicular ferrite; the cold crack rate is zero under the condition of restraint welding. The mechanical experiment results show that the mechanical properties of the coarse grained heat affected zone, fine grained heat affected zone and the tempered heat affected zone are good.
