Abstract

The control strategy and algorithm as well as its coding of the vehicle control unit (VCU) were studied using the model-based and the autocode technique. AVCU was developed for a 2-axes parallel hybrid bus based on the V + v model using the software development platform technology. The key issues of each node in the V + v model were analyzed and discussed, and a brand-new control strategy and algorithm were developed for the VCU, and the automatically generated product quality code was tested using different simulation modes of the same model. A software development platform compatible with a 32-bit micro-controller was built with OSEK-compliant operating system. The functions of the developed VCU were tested on a half-vehicle bench and a real vehicle respectively, and the results show that the development of VCU with V + v model improves the development quality, shortens the development cycle, and cuts the development cost.
