N2 - This paper investigates a dual-winding PMSM system based on a winding reconfiguration topology. At low speed region, the motor works in winding series mode, and at high speed region, it works in winding parallel mode. However, the speed and torque fluctuation caused by dual-winding reconfiguration of the PMSM leads to decline of control system stability. This paper presents a fuzzy-logic control (FLC) for the dual-winding PMSM. This strategy can adjust the PI parameters of speed loop adaptively according to the winding state and speed error. Compared with the fixed gain PI controller. FLC reduces the speed fluctuation during winding reconfiguration process. The experimental results show the validity of the FLC.
