Abstract
With the rapid development of smart appliances, home management system (HMS) becomes an essential system for the end users to interact with the distribution system operator (DSO). HMS can manage the smart household appliances owned by of the residents reasonably through the intelligent human-computer interface according to their personal preferences, so as to reduce the electricity bills and satisfy the diversified demand. In this paper, a two-stage optimization framework is proposed to realize the collaborative operation between the DSO and end users. The first stage aims to assess the flexibility offered by the end users and the second stage is designed to minimize the operation cost of the distribution network while protecting the interests and privacy of the end users. The effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach is verified through numerical studies on a 24-bus distribution system.
