Abstract

From the whole plants of Carpesium lipskyi, two new monoterpene derivatives, 2-(2'-methoxy-p-tolyl)glyceryl 1,3-diisobutyrate (1) and 2-(2'- methoxy-p-tolyl)glyceryl 1-isobutyrate-3-acetate (2) were isolated. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 2D-NMR techniques (HMQC, HMBC).
