Abstract
In order to provide ideal light source for coherent laser radar, we designed z-fold Q-switched RF excited waveguide CO2 lasers with two channels. One channel served as transmitter laser include z-fold waveguide resonator with Q-switched system can output Q-switched laser or cavity-dumped laser. Another single channel used as local laser can output CW laser. The two channel excited by the same RF source. This kind of structure has the advantages of high offset frequency stability, low cost, easy manufacturing and small size over two separated lasers.
