Abstract

To realize the optimization for process plan obtained through configuration technology, a trade-off evaluation method based on reusability and effectiveness was put forward. According to the requirements of configuration technology, the necessity of process configuration plan evaluation was asserted with additional reference of product configuration process. By comparative analysis between configuration process technology and traditional process and referring to the method of product configuration plan, the reusability index based on process route similarity and effectiveness index based on product characteristics and process feature matching were proposed. Through calculating the reusability index and effectiveness index, the visualized evaluation and analysis for multiple process configuration plans were implemented with no extra weights. The effectiveness of this trade-off evaluation method was validated in the case of process configuration on satellite state panel machining process.
