Torque distribution strategy based on adaptive network based fuzzy interface system for an electrical vehicle using modular cascade machines

Abstract

Modular Cascade Machines (MCM) is a system where integrating several modular designed machines to replace the conventional single machine, and gradually attracted worldwide attentions in recent years. It may have perspectives in the applications of Electrical Vehicles (EVs). This paper developed a possible MCM torque distribution strategy, by the means of Adaptive Network based Fuzzy Interface System (ANFIS). A description tool, Energetic Macroscopic Representation (EMR) is then adopted for the description of system modelling, as well as system control. An optimal efficiency torque distribution table is developed as an expert library to train and test the ANFIS network. The simulation proves that ANFIS-based strategy can realize MCM high efficiency operation. Meanwhile, machines working conditions are improved comparing to the optimal efficiency strategy.
