Abstract

A rapid internal hydrolysis method was developed for the synthesis of TiO2/SBA-15. The as-synthesized material was characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, TEM and UV-Vis techniques. The photodedegradation of Rhodamine B(RhB) in aqueous medium was selected as a probe reaction to evaluate the photocatalysis performance of TiO2/SBA-15. The influence of TiO2 loading on the photocatalysis performance was also studied. The photocatalysis performance of TiO2/SBA-15 is better than that of pure TiO2 and TiO2/SBA-15 by impregnation method.
