Third-order nonlinear polarizability of a chiral molecule based on the model of one-electron along a helix

Abstract

One electron constrained to move along a helical path model is studied. The polarizability tensor of a single helix is discussed and third-order susceptibility tensor is given. Furthermore, the value of the polarizability of known parameters molecule is analyzed.
