Abstract

The results of experimental research showed that in heating condition the bleed can improve the outlet water temperature and heat absorption quantity of the thermal well, especially the effect on improving the outlet water temperature of standing column well is remarkable. However, the role of a larger bleed rate is limited. With the bleed rate increasing from 5.0% to 32.1%, the heat absorption quantity of pumping and recharging well filled gravel increases only 7.4% in experimental conditions. Moreover, the bleed reduces the thermal influence scope of thermal well.
