Abstract

A heat transfer model is given for thermistor mount in power measurement procedure. A relational expression of effective efficiency with thermal capacitance and thermal conductance is derived from the model. A microwave power measurement error, which is from heat exchange difference, is defined as thermal equivalence error. The thermal equivalent error is analyzed in detail and its analytic expression is derived. Methods are suggested to eliminate this error at last.
