Abstract

The goal of this paper presents a simulation method to measure the Peak Voltage of Inverted F-shaped Antenna (IFA) to guide multi-band tunable cellular antenna design. The result reviews, for the inverted F-shaped antenna, as the distance between tuner and the short end of the antenna increases, the RF voltage across tuner increase as well. The simulation show that peak voltage of IFA antenna can be predicted by frequency domain simulation, thus provide guide line for selecting SOI tuner switch.
