Abstract
Production of battery brings a lot of wastewater which contains heavy metal Pb, the spent sulfuric acid, some refractory organic pollutants and domestic wastewater. The optimal operating conditions are as following: [H 2O 2]=600 mg/L, [FeSO 4·7H 2O]=2.0 g/L, 20°C and 30 min at pH=3.0. Under these conditions, the COD removal are 87.6%, COD<100 mg/L and the heavy metal Pb has not picked out, which reaches the national emission standard.
