Abstract
In this paper, we choose Aluminum and Lava pills to simulate the impact of spacecraft typical Whipple shield with hypervelocity. The simulation shows that the impact caused by aluminum pill is more severe than that by Lava pill. It also shows that the impact aperture of the front plate and the penetrating damage caused by aluminum pill is more severe than the one by lava pill.
