Abstract

Tubular linear motor has many favorable features, like quick response, strong output, suitable for narrow installation space, et al, so it is widely used for the linear electromechanical servo systems. But, the tubular linear motor design constraints by a plurality of structural parameters, so there are some problems, for example output force cannot meet the needs and large power fluctuation. In order to get optimum output force and minimum fluctuation, the paper, by simulation methods, focuses on the structural optimization design in terms of the gap length for the tubular linear motors, permanent magnet thickness, the slot width, pole arc coefficient tooth width / pitch ratio, and so on. Then the paper analyzes the influencing factors of linear motor output force, gives each parameter value to meet the optimal output, and provides guidance for the design parameters of tubular linear motor.
