Abstract

In order to realize transmit high speed data on power line channel under the bad and complex condition, the scheme based on OFDM is always the research focus. Different from OFDM based scheme, a new high PLC communication method is proposed in this paper, the single carrier QAM scheme with THP precoder. This method use THP precoder to equalize the channel to get rid of the inter-symbol interference, so that the QAM modulation can make full use of spectrum. The numberic simulation and experiment test show that the single QAM scheme can realize high speed data transmission and have good error rate performance. Compared with OFDM based system, it has better ability to combat the channel variation.
