Abstract
Urban disasters are characterized by outburst, derivatives, diffusibility, high losses and defensibility etc. However, as the material carrier of disaster prevention and relief in cities, urban disaster prevention space extremely guarantees the benefits of disaster prevention and reduction. Through the analyses of the features and functional requirements of urban disaster prevention space, this article not only elaborates the planning and design strategies from three aspects, such as site planning, scale control and facilities planning, but also puts forward the corresponding methods.
