Abstract
With the good integrity and reasonable structural form, the plate-type long-span structures is widely used in all kinds of public facilities. Meanwhile, it is vulnerable to undergo terrorist attack and other sources of explosive blast loading because the damage of these structures would seriously threaten the people's safety and its normal service. As the first step to analyze structural responses, the load distributed on the structure is investigated. The whole progress of blast wave propagation and reflection, in rectangle shells, are calculated with the explicit software LS-DYNA. And the pressure contour of the whole shell is presented. Then the influences of different parameters are studied to find the sensitive ones. Finally, a simplified mathematic method is proposed to describe the pressure contour of the whole structure.
