Abstract

This paper analyzes the influences of process parameters on the suction casting titanium aluminum connecting rod. Metal mold with metal cores , metal mold with ceramic cores and ceramic shell were used to cast TiAl alloy connecting rod, and the effects of parameters on TiAl alloy formability in suction casting was studied. The process parameters of vacuum suction casting have been optimized, and a complete connecting rod has been obtained using ceramic shell.
