Abstract
An investigation is conducted for the influence of the material's mechanical property on simulation of hollow crankshaft hydroforming. By analysing the effect of n value and r value on thickness distributions, it is found that for the materials with bigger n value, wall thickness distribution is more uniform, and the minimal wall thickness of the transition region is increased. The width in transition region and the center region and wall thickness in center region is accordingly smaller.
