Abstract

Being affected by materials processing and working environment, Hemispherical resonator gyro(HRG) output signal inevitable changes with environment temperature. In this paper, reasons for temperature drift of HRG are analyzed and the temperature model, based on a series of temperature tests, is identified by finite memory recursive least square algorithm. After comparing with original HRG output, the model is proved effectively in compensation of HRG temperature drift and improvement of HRG navigation precision.
