Abstract

Now, test tasks provide more and more requirements for the test system. They require the test system not only respond to the high-speed input/output devices in real time, but also operate several low speed ones simultaneously. Considering that the hardware has been practical, we are convinced that the development of software plays a key role in solving this problem. Using the multiple thread and packet transmission based on VME bus is a good solution for it. Multithread program can perform several operations simultaneously and meet the demand of time critical tasks. The Block Transfer can increase data transfer rate. Thus we can make full use of the computer resource and increase the efficiency of the program. As a result, we save the test time and achieve the goal without interference to the main test flow.
