Abstract
After lengthy struggles, humans are faced with ecological damage and environmental pollution despite the great achievements in nature reconstruction, as well as social and economic development, which are posing threats to their survival and development. Therefore, it has been an urgent and arduous task for all human beings to protect and improve the ecological environment in order to realize the sustainable development of human society. Hence, environmental protection acts as the premise for social development. Besides, environmental protection, along with the realization of harmony between man and nature, serves as a precondition for further development of the economy, as well as a guarantee for the continuation of human civilization.
