Abstract

During the preparation of compound bioflocculant (CBF) from straw cellulose, culture condition of CBF was optimized. The distribution of the flocculation activated substances in fermentation fluid, the activated components of CBF were also investigated. The results indicated that flocculants producing bacteria of CBF should be inoculated into sterilized fermentation fluid for 3d and cultured under the condition of 30°C and 140r/min when cultivated in breeding shaker. Flocculants producing bacteria had a better flocculation effect when fermentation time was 36 h and pH was adjusted to 7.2. CBF was a kind of large molecules bioflocculant, mainly consist of polysaccharide. CBF exhibited good thermal stability. The flocculation activated substances of CBF mainly distributed in upper phase.
