Abstract

The city-building-complex is now in a large-scale and stylized stage of development in China and its construction has become more involved in the city and people's lives. The research in the city-building-complex and the shaping of urban form is of great significance and has broad prospects. This article discussed the relationship of the city-building-complex and the shaping of urban form from macroscopic, mesoscopic and microscopic perspectives, starting from four aspects, such as urban surface morphology, urban skyline, urban texture and urban axis. It will give reference and suggestion in design of the city-building-complex in China in future.
