Abstract

Membrane is one of the most important materials in space structure. Wrinkling has a great effect on the performance of the membrane structure. Thus it's important to analyze the membrane wrinkling. A wrinkling experiment is done with membrane, and some regular areas are extracted from the experimental images. Wrinkling texture is analyzed by the texture features based on the gray-level co-occurrence matrix. Experimental results reveal that the distribution and direction of wrinkling can be exactly judged by the texture features based on the gray-level co-occurrence matrix. Experimental results show good agreement with theory prediction.
