Terminal screening process modeling and performance analysis based on Petri Nets

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

For the current terminal passenger screening process with low efficiency and wasting a long time, research is carried out on performance of terminal passenger screening process. Terminal passenger screening process model is built based on Petri net theory, by analyzing a 4E-class domestic civil airport terminal passenger screening process, and performance of the model is analysed when the correctness is verified. Performance analysis results show that the model can help analyze the performance of the security processes, identify bottlenecks, and clear direction to improve efficiency of terminal passenger security service process.
