Abstract

The wheel motor is a core part for the satellite attitude control. To design and use the motor in the outer space, it is necessary to calculate and test the temperature rise accurately. Based on the thermal circuit method and the FEM (Finite Element Method), the steady and the dynamic temperature rise of the Ironless Armature Brushless DC Motor were calculated. And the calculated result was certified by experiment.
