Abstract

The technology of cracks self-repairing in concrete is a method, which can make concrete heal cracks and damage, recover and improve the performance of concrete material, actively and automatically, depending on the function of outside environment or itself, under a certain condition. The best way of repairing the damage of concrete materials in structure is to enable the concrete and concrete structures have self-repairing capabilities. The system of self-repairing in concrete can retrench the high cost of effective monitoring and maintenance, save the expenditure for structure running, and greatly improve the safety and durability of concrete structures. In the paper, the technologies and theories of concrete self-repairing are expounded systematically. The application range and blemish of those theories are analyzed, which provide a theory basis for the preparation and application of self-repairing concrete.
