Abstract

The synthesis of BN ceramics via non-oxygen precursors are reviewed. The routes to BN ceramics through borane, borazine and boron halide are introduced and the synthesis route to polymer form those regents and their ceramic transfers to BN are also illustrated. In addition, the prospect of research is described, too.
