Abstract
The heterobimetallic cluster compound [WOS3Cu3I(2-Mepy)3] was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and electronic spectroscopy. Its structure has been crystallographically determined. The nonlinear optical properties of the cluster were measured by using Z-scan technique. The comparison of the optical limiting performance of this cluster with fullerene C60 has demonstrated the cluster to be superior to the fullerene C60.
