Abstract
ABTS+ radical scavenging experiments and Chou-Talalay combination index (CI) method was used to evaluate the scavenging effects, combination index (CI) and dose reduction index (DRI) of resveratrol (RES) and Auricularia auricular polysaccharides (AAP) individually as well as combination of them. The results showed that IC50 values of RES and AAP were 3.56 mg/L and 61.46 mg/L, respectively, while IC50 value of the combination (mass ratio 1:1) was only 2.50 mg/L, indicating the combination had significant ABTS+ radical scavenging effect. CI analysis displayed that the clearance rate of 5~97% interaction index was less than 1. With the removal rate increased, CI was also reduced. DRI analysis demonstrated that the clearance rate of 5~97% DRI was greater than 1. With the removal rate increased, DRI also increased. Therefore, it was confirmed that RES and AAP had significant synergistic antioxidant effect when the mass ratio was 1:1.
