N2 - In this paper, the model of synchronous generator and power system is established, and is used to compose the real-time semi-physical simulation system. Generally, the excitation regulator is in a real unit to complete the parameter setting and system dynamic test, which has a great impact on the unit, and a risk of equipment damage. Therefore, the establishment of a semi-physical simulation platform for the design verification and dynamic performance test of the actual excitation system will improve the reliability of it. The simulation model of synchronous generator and power system is established based on Matlab/Simulink and the semi-physical simulation system was built with DSP as the hardware platform. Finally, the model was downloaded into the DSP, and a series of experiments were conducted by connecting the Semi-physical simulation platform with the real excitation device.
