Abstract

In order to realize the synchronization between the chaotic systems with mismatching in parameters, a sliding mode control approach for chaotic synchronization was presented based on high gain state observer. It expanded the mismatching in parameters into a new state, and made full use of the information that can be measured to design high gain state observer to estimate all the states of system, while the normal form of the error system for chaotic synchronization as the model. Finally, a sliding mode control was designed, which successfully realized the chaotic synchronization between the chaotic systems with mismatching in parameters. Theory analysis and simulation results had proved the feasibility and validity of the approach.
