Abstract

Monte Carlo method is popular in many areas of computational mathematics and is usually treated as benchmark method for numerical simulation algorithms. Probability models and pseudorandom number generators are two important component part of Monte Carlo method, and they influence the accuracy and correctness of the calculation. As a new test method, the symmetrical test method of radiation in three-dimensional media is presented in this paper. Using this method, an unlimited number of tests can be done on the pseudorandom number generator in various conditions. It tests not only the characteristics of pseudorandom numbers, but also the correctness of the probability models.
