Abstract

Drawing on the Conservation of Resource Theory, the complex relationship linking Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) to employee job performance (JP) has been examined, considering the mediating effect of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and the moderating influence of Workplace Ostracism (WO) within a moderated mediation framework. Structural Equation Modeling has been employed on 486 responses through Smart PLS. Frequency distribution of demographics was done using SPSS. This research highlights the negative outcome of ostracism at the workplace in the collectivist society as the data was collected from banks in Pakistan. Findings show that ostracism is mitigating the impact of GHRM on outcomes like OCB and performance. Findings suggest that organizations should implement GHRM practices to enhance OCB and employee performance while addressing ostracism in the workplace.
