Suppression of positioning vibration for PMSM servo system

Abstract

To solve the positioning vibration caused by elastic transmission mechanisms which existed between load and motor in PMAC servo system, vibration suppression with notch filter was adopted. Filter can eliminate the given position component of vibration frequency and suppress the end vibration in position loop. Meanwhile, to compensate phase delay imported by the filter, an improved approach was proposed. As a result, positioning vibration is suppressed without phase delay. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is proved by simulation and experiment.
