Abstract
The nonlinear absorption and photoquenching for the solution of Rhodamine 6 G and Rhodamine B are measured in details. They show SA in 532nm and RSA in 355nm. The absorption cross-section and lifetime of the excited-states are evaluated by fitting theoretical calculations with the experimental results. The photoquenching character is introduced and a theory of photoquenching induced by excited-state absorption is presented.
