Abstract

The sectional mechanical balance equation of reinforced masonry walls with out of plane eccentric load has been presented. Based on the constitutional relation of concrete-filled concrete masonry and the smooth section assume, the influence coefficient of eccentricity, the factor of stability and the influence coefficient of bearing capacity ψ of reinforced masonry walls with out of plane compressive eccentric load and the formula to calculate capacity have been got. Some parameters are determined from the test results. The calculated results have been compared with that got from the code method to certify its rationality and applicability.
