N2 - The energy-saving slope is an important part in longitudinal design in subway. The paper's aim is to find the optimal length of energy-saving Slope. So, the paper set a model and calculated method based on dynastic and braking of vehicle. It divides the tunnel into five intervals: accelerated, downhill energy-saving, Traction - idle, uphill energy-saving, braking. To calculate the length of energy-saving slope based on the change theory between Kinetic energy and Potential energy. The result shows that longer of station distance, smaller of max-speed and motor power, greater of angle of slope and carriage quality, needs longer to energy-saving slope. Recommend length of energy-saving slope was [228m, 330m].
