Abstract

In high-speed multimedia mobile communications, when multi-path signal arrive at the antenna, different time delays must exist among different paths, which bring about Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). Therefore, the technique called temporal equalizer for 8- element adaptive array antennas (AAA) is studied in this paper. This technique is realized through landscape orientation filter, whose weight vector is formed by RLS algorithm, AAA is only employed on base station, meanwhile, transmitting downlink signal with a simple way. Computer simulation runs in the environment with TDMATDD frame structure. The result shows that the BER value is improved and the performance is better than ever.
