Abstract

In view of the characteristics of optical fiber top strapdown inertial navigation system, combining with characteristics of actual test, the static error model of fiber optic gyro and accelerometer are established. In order to drive the errors of gyro and accelerometer effectively, then determine each error coefficient accurately, design one complete set of synthesis calibration schemes based on the three axis turning table, which is including velocity test, position test and bias modification test, and the detailed data processing methods are presented. On the basis of these, the calibration test has been done with self-developed fiber optic gyro strapdown inertial navigation system, finished the compensation for each error and also used the initial alignment algorithm to verify compensational effect. And the result indicates that the scheme is effective and practical.
