Abstract

Power Grid fault Simulation Device can generate typical power disturbances such as sag, swell, over voltage, under voltage and harmonic. It can also serve as a test platform for experiments for Power Quality Compensator and low voltage ride through the wind turbine. In order to get a steady output voltage and the excellent adjustment performance of load, an improved sliding window iterative algorithm is adopted in this paper to detect voltage amplitude and phase information. DSP being adopted for programming makes system simple and high reliability. In order to improve the system dynamic response and shorten the generant time of disturbance voltage, foreback control strategy is adopted to generate disturbances voltage and improve the system stability. Experimental results show that the device can simulate typical power disturbances.
