Study on optimal synthesis and purification of poly {2, 6-dimidazo[4, 5-b:4', 5'-e]pyridinylene-1, 4 (2, 5-dihydroxy)phenylene}monomers

Abstract

The preparation and purification of liquid crystal poly{2, 6-dimidazo[4, 5-b:4', 5'-e]pyridinylene-1, 4(2, 5-dihydroxy)phenylene} monomers-[2, 5-dihydroxyterephthalic acid(DHTA) and 2, 3, 5, 6-tetraaminopyridine(TAP)]were studied. Compared with other different experiments, the optimal routes of synthesis and purification were confirmed. The structures of main products were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HPLC, DSC and element analysis.
