Abstract

In use of optimal reactive power dispatch based on operating patterns, the operating patterns of different seasons and different load levels are set up. Taking the value of target voltage as center, the reactive power and voltage dispatch curves are worked out by giving constraints and power factors for different operating patterns. A few operating patterns by seasons proposed in this paper can reflect the common natures of many more operating samples and cover their specialties. It's an important feature distinguished from what described in C. S. Chang's paper, in which the "data wafer technique" is adopted for storage of excessive operating patterns.
