Abstract

Mathematical models of ground-source heat pump system were built, and boundary element method was adopted to solve the thermal resistance of underground heat exchanger. Simulation study on operation characteristics of heating system was performed to meet the climate characteristics and heating requirement. Specially developed equipment was used to measure the heating characteristics of the actual ground-source heat pump system, and the data were compared with that from simulation. The results indicate that the deviation between simulation data and experiment information are within 4%. Therefore, the mathematical models and simulation process of ground-source heat pump system are suitable, and can accurately simulate the heating situation of ground-source heat pump system in cold area.
