Study on method of space vector pulse width modulation

Abstract

The principle of space vector pulse width modulation of the three-phase AC motor was analyzed. Output capability of the three-phase bridge voltage source inverter was discussed. The software of space vector pulse width modulation was provided and correlated experiment results were given, based on an integrated DSP motor controller ADMC331. With the same DC bus voltage, the linear extent of the output basic-wave phase voltage of inverter can be extended by space vector pulse width modulation and the maximum basic-wave phase voltage is higher than that obtained by traditional sine wave pulse width modulation.
